Prospects for the development of Turkmen-American cooperation discussed

The current state and prospects for the development of Turkmen-American relations were discussed during a meeting on August 20 between Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmed Gurbanov and US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan Elizabeth Rood.
As reported by the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, within the framework of the interested exchange of views on the most important aspects and key areas of bilateral partnership, the parties' mutual focus on deepening ties in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres was noted.
The diplomats positively assessed the format of Turkmen-American political consultations to discuss issues of mutual interest and coordinate joint actions to develop bilateral relations, and also agreed to maintain regular contacts in order to further strengthen cooperation and achieve mutual goals.
