Prospects for the development of Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation in the fuel and energy sector were discussed with the delegation of Uzbekistan headed by the Minister of Energy Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, which held a number of meetings in the capital of Turkmenistan, TDH reports.
During the meetings, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between Ashgabat and Tashkent in the fuel and energy sector, the news agency notes.
Currently, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are striving to bring their partnership based on the principles of openness and mutual trust, as well as meeting the national interests of each of the parties, to a qualitatively new level.
The parties noted that the negotiations that took place will play an important role in the further development of bilateral relations.
