Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Iraq discussed exchange of visits at the highest and high levels by phone

Special attention was paid to the exchange of bilateral visits at the highest and high levels during a telephone conversation between Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq Fuad Hussein, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
During the telephone conversation, the heads of the foreign ministries exchanged views on the current state of Turkmen-Iraqi relations in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
At the same time, special attention was paid to the exchange of bilateral visits at the highest and high levels, as well as the continuation of contacts in a bilateral format within the framework of international organizations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes.
The ministers noted the importance and necessity of continuing close cooperation on regional and international issues.
