Mongolian President to Pay State Visit to Turkmenistan in Autumn

Preparations for the state visit of the President of Mongolia to Turkmenistan this autumn were discussed on Wednesday by Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and Mongolian Ambassador to Turkmenistan (with residence in Astana) Dorj Bayarkhuu. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the parties paid special attention to preparations for the state visit of Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh to Turkmenistan this autumn, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes.
The parties discussed the current situation and prospects for the development of bilateral relations, in particular between the foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and Mongolia.
At the meeting, the two countries expressed interest in further developing bilateral relations in all areas of mutual interest.
Earlier, issues of preparation for the first state visit to Turkmenistan by the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh were discussed by telephone at the end of July this year between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Ms. Battsetseg Batmunkhin.
