In a congratulatory message to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on his birthday, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping expressed readiness to make joint efforts to further develop interstate partnership for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
"I pay great attention to the development of Chinese-Turkmen relations and am ready to make joint efforts with you to further develop a multifaceted partnership for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries," the letter published on September 22 on the TDH website says.
"Last year, we met twice, jointly announced the elevation of Chinese-Turkmen relations to the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership, as well as the implementation of a community of common destiny for China and Turkmenistan, outlined new plans to strengthen traditional friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries," Xi Jinping noted.
In his message, the leader of the PRC wished Serdar Berdimuhamedov good health and success in his work, and the friendly people of Turkmenistan – happiness and prosperity.
