Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and the President of Uzbekistan discussed cooperation prospects by phone

On Monday, October 14, a telephone conversation took place between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, TDH reports.
During the conversation, the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in trade and economic, fuel and energy, transport and communications and agricultural spheres were discussed, as well as issues of implementing previously reached agreements and planned joint projects.
The head of Uzbekistan expressed gratitude to the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the invitation to take part in a high representative forum held in honor of the great Eastern philosopher Magtymguly, and for awarding him with a jubilee medal.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that the great Magtymguly Fragi is highly revered in Uzbekistan, his work is well known, and the international conference held in Ashgabat is of great importance in strengthening friendly ties between peoples.
Hero-Arkadag emphasized that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to strengthening bilateral relations based on the traditions of good neighborliness.
