Investments in renewable energy open new horizons for cooperation in the international arena, and Turkmenistan will become a reliable partner in this process. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the State Concern «Turkmengas» Murad Archayev, speaking on October 24 at the International Conference and Exhibition «Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2024» (OGT 2024).

In his speech, Murad Archayev emphasized that this year, special attention is paid to renewable energy sources such as solar, wind and hydropower. He noted that on the threshold of a new era, when these sources are becoming not only a priority, but also vital for the sustainable development of our countries and the whole world, investments in renewable energy open new horizons for cooperation in the international arena, and Turkmenistan is a reliable partner in this process.

The speaker also emphasized the importance of introducing innovative technologies and developing joint projects that help reduce the carbon footprint and improve the environmental situation. He noted that this not only supports environmental goals, but also strengthens the energy security of the entire Central Asia.

“Turkmenistan has the richest natural resources and occupies a strategic position in the region,” - Murad Archayev said, adding that it is necessary to use this potential to reduce dependence on external energy sources.

In conclusion, the speaker called on all conference participants to engage in open dialogue and cooperation.

“Let us join forces to create a sustainable energy future that will benefit not only us, but also future generations,” - Murad Archayev emphasized, expressing hope for productive discussions.
