The President of Turkmenistan has signed a Resolution authorizing the State Concern «Turkmennebit» to enter into a contract with the MBF Group DWC-LLC company (UAE) for the purchase of specialized equipment.

“In order to successfully solve the problems set before the oil and gas industry, the President of Turkmenistan has signed a resolution authorizing the State Concern «Turkmennebit» to enter into a contract with the MBF Group DWC-LLC company (UAE) at its own expense for the introduction of a certain number of cementing units on a truck chassis, designed for cementing, strengthening and major repairs of wells,” the document says.

The draft resolution was submitted for consideration by the head of state by Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov at a government meeting last Friday.

As reported, in order to increase the productivity of geological exploration, necessary steps are being taken to provide the State Concern «Turkmennebit» with specialized equipment used in drilling, development and major repairs of oil and gas wells in the country's fields.

After hearing the report, Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that in order to successfully solve the most important tasks set before the oil and gas complex, including increasing the volume of hydrocarbon production, it is necessary to constantly improve the material and technical base of the State Concern «Turkmennebit».

Having signed the submitted resolution, the head of state instructed the Vice-Chairman to ensure strict control over the implementation of the provisions arising from this document.
