The President of Turkmenistan took part in the nationwide tree planting campaign

More than 539 thousand trees of various species were planted in Turkmenistan as part of the nationwide environmental campaign held on November 9. The event was attended by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as representatives of the government, military and law enforcement agencies, diplomatic missions and the public.
During the campaign, measures were also taken to care for the more than 2 million 67 thousand 630 trees that had been planted earlier.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of systematic tree planting to improve the environmental situation and instructed to ensure constant monitoring of the implementation of environmental protection measures.
Mass tree planting events contribute to the creation of new parks, enrichment of the flora of the Turkmen land, and provision of favorable climatic conditions. All this is an important condition for environmental safety and preserving the health of our people.
