The International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev and Petronas Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd signed a Memorandum of Understanding, the News Portal of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company of Turkmenistan reports.

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum took place on the sidelines of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Prospects of Innovative Technologies in Chemistry and Gas Chemistry", held at the Turkmen industry university.

Based on the signed document, it is planned to expand and develop joint research and design work in the fields of oil and gas, geological research, chemical technology, digital economy, as well as renewable energy sources, green energy, and solving environmental problems associated with climate change.

 In addition, it is planned to carry out joint publications of research results of professors, teachers, specialists and young scientists in international scientific journals.

Effective cooperation in the field of science and education between the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev, Petronas Charigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd and Petronas Technological University has been successfully carried out for several years.
