The President of Turkmenistan has sent the draft State Budget of the country for 2025 to the Mejlis for consideration

The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has sent the draft State Budget of the country for 2025 to the Mejlis. Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Hojamyrat Geldimyradov reported to the President on the preparation of the draft State Budget of Turkmenistan for next year at a government meeting held via video link on November 15. 

According to the Vice-Chairman, the draft State Budget for the coming year, the main directions of the country's socio-economic development and the Investment Program have been developed on the basis of the "Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028". 

As noted, the main financial document of the state is aimed at further successful implementation of large-scale reforms and strengthening the power of the national economy.  The key tasks for the next year are: maintaining macroeconomic stability, continuing the dynamic development of the country's economic sectors and regions, investing the bulk of investments in the radical modernization of production, and further improving the standard of living of the population. 

After hearing the report, Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the draft State Budget for next year provides for an increase in wages, pensions, scholarships, state benefits and other expenses. 

The President also noted that next year it is planned to invest 40.1 billion manats in economic sectors from all sources of financing. 

In this regard, the President signed the relevant document and announced that the draft State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2025 is being submitted to the Mejlis of Turkmenistan for consideration.
