25 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Afghanistan purchased technical sulfur and liquefied gas produced at the technological installations of the State Concern "Turkmengas" for foreign currency. Representatives of business circles from the UAE and Afghanistan purchased low-sulfur fuel oil, lighting kerosene, liquefied gas produced by the State Concern "Turkmennebit" and urea (SC "Turkmenchemistry").
Hand-made carpets, cotton yarn and Portland cement were also sold for foreign currency. Buyer countries: United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan.
The total amount of transactions was over 47 million 469 thousand US dollars. Local entrepreneurs purchased polypropylene and base oil produced by the State Concern "Turkmennebit" for the domestic market, as well as float glass, Portland cement, packaging film, and cotton yarn. The total amount of transactions was over 15 million 362 thousand manats and 222 thousand 870 dollars.
