The presentation of the new book by the President of Turkmenistan takes place in the Central Building of the Fuel and Energy Complex

The book by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov Magtymguly – the Sage of the World (“Magtymguly – dünýäniň akyldary”), published on the eve of 2025, the International Year of Peace and Trust, and at the end of 2024, “Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Pyragy”, has become a wonderful and priceless gift for the people of Turkmenistan. The presentation of the new work of the head of state Arkadagly Serdar took place in the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan, which was attended by the heads and employees of the oil and gas complex. 

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov congratulated those gathered on the release of the new edition devoted to the great poet and philosopher. 

Then speeches were delivered by the State Minister of Turkmenistan – Chairman of the Türkmengaz State Concern Maksat Babayev, Chairman of the Türkmennebit State Concern Guvanch Agajanov, Chairman of the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation Gurbangeldy Garliyev, editor of the department of the Watan newspaper, poetess Ogultach Oraztaganova, head of the department of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture Byagul Annabayeva, Chairman of the Council of the Trade Union of Workers of the Oil and Gas Industry Complex of Turkmenistan Sapar Ataberdiyev, Editor-in-Chief of the Nebit-Gaz newspaper Ussa Ussayev, chief specialist of the General Department of the Türkmennebit State Concern Muhammetmurad Atagarriyev and chemist-laboratory assistant of the Central Production Laboratory of the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation Ayjahan Muradova. 

As noted by the speakers, the work comprehensively revealed the significance of Magtymguly in the history of the Turkmen people and his works as a contribution to the golden treasury of world literature. The new book by Arkadagly Hero Serdar is addressed to a wide readership and connoisseurs of the rich literary heritage of Magtymguly. The publication is made at a high printing level, presented in separate books in three languages ​​– Turkmen, Russian and English, and is richly illustrated. 

In the new work of the head of state Magtymguly – the Sage of the World, talented scientists, professors, writers and foreign specialists who contributed to the study of the life and literary heritage of the great poet are especially noted, and their activity is highly appreciated. 

In his book, the head of state notes that the Turkmen people have a special attitude to the works of Magtymguly, often turning to the multifaceted works of the poet-philosopher. The author writes: “In fact, every Turkmen is a Magtymguly scholar. Every Turkmen tries to understand Magtymguly all his or her life and lives following the words and instructions of Magtymguly.” The new book by the head of state is a key to understanding the rich literary heritage of the poet and thinker, an outstanding son of the Turkmen people. 

The song and music performance by artists of the Cultural and Business Center of the Türkmengaz State Concern gave the ceremony an atmosphere of a festive celebration.
