Prospects for expanding partnership in the oil and gas sector were discussed with ADNOC and Petronas

A meeting of the management of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" with the Vice President of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Dipesh Meazuryan and representatives of the Malaysian company Petronas Charigali Sdn. Bhd was held in the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan, the MIC of Turkmenistan reports.
During the meeting, current issues of bilateral cooperation, prospects for implementing new joint projects in the field of hydrocarbon production, processing and modernization of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the issues of exporting Turkmen energy resources to world markets.
The Vice President of ADNOC and other participants in the meetings highly appreciated the potential of the Turkmen fuel and energy complex and expressed readiness to further strengthen partnership relations.
As noted, Turkmenistan attaches great importance at the state level to the efficient use of energy resources, the introduction of energy-saving technologies, and the development of renewable energy sources. In this regard, the use of modern advanced practices and innovative technologies was identified as an important task.
The visit of the high-ranking delegation shows that Turkmenistan is an attractive destination for foreign investment in the energy sector. Our country has significant oil and gas reserves, as well as a stable political environment, which creates favorable conditions for the development of long-term mutually beneficial cooperation.
