On February 14, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system, where the results of the work done in the economic sectors in January 2025 were summed up, and a number of other issues of state life were considered, TDH reports.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the results of the country's oil and gas complex enterprises for January of this year.
During the report, the technical and economic indicators achieved in the field of oil and gas condensate production were reported. In particular, the oil production plan by the State Concern "Turkmennebit" was fulfilled by 104.3%.
During the reporting period, the plan for oil refining was fulfilled by 100.7%, gasoline production - 100.2%, diesel fuel - 100.7%, polypropylene - 103.8%, lubricating oils - 113.8%. The growth rate for liquefied gas production was ensured at a level of 124.2%.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of consistently improving the activities of the country's oil and gas complex, increasing the volume of natural gas and oil production, and taking comprehensive measures to maintain production facilities in proper operating condition.
Having also emphasized the need to further improve the efficiency of geological exploration and drilling operations, the head of state addressed the Vice-Chairman with relevant instructions.
