UAE President invited to Ashgabat for International Forum of Peace and Trust

Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov extended an invitation to UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to attend the International Forum of Peace and Trust, which will be held on December 12 in Ashgabat, TDH reports.
Hero Arkadag presented this invitation during a meeting with UAE Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. At the same time, the head of the Halk Maslahaty emphasized the special importance of the UAE leader’s participation in the upcoming forum, which is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality and will be held within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust declared by the UN.
In turn, Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan assured that the United Arab Emirates traditionally supports Turkmen initiatives put forward at the UN platform and aimed at strengthening peace and stability.
The interlocutors also discussed prospects for expanding bilateral relations, paying particular attention to the need to strengthen partnership in the areas of culture, science, education and art, including holding mutual Days of Culture and specialized exhibitions.
