The President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev confirmed his participation in the International Peace and Trust Forum, which is scheduled to be held on December 12 in Ashgabat. The head of Kazakhstan wrote about this in a letter addressed to the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
"Thank you for the invitation to the International Peace and Trust Forum scheduled for December 12, 2025 in Ashgabat. I confirm my participation in this important event," the letter of the President of Kazakhstan, published in the central media of our country, says.
As Tokayev noted, "the initiative to hold this representative forum emphasizes the special role of Turkmenistan in strengthening the atmosphere of universal trust and mutual understanding, reflects Ashgabat's consistent commitment to the principles of peaceful coexistence, contributing to the formation of sustainable mechanisms for global security".
"Kazakhstan consistently supports Turkmenistan's peacekeeping efforts and shares the desire for an open and constructive dialogue in the name of universal peace and goodness," Tokayev emphasized.
The head of Kazakhstan expressed confidence that "the upcoming forum will become an important platform for exchanging views and developing practical solutions on pressing issues on the international agenda."
Earlier, the head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev also confirmed his participation in the International Forum of Peace and Trust.
