On March 20, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers using the digital system, during which a number of issues of state life were considered.

During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the ongoing activities on the structural modernization of the State Concerns "Turkmengas" and "Turkmennebit".

As noted, this will contribute to the effective continuation of the phased development of oil and gas fields, the introduction of a digital system in the industry, and the rapid development of the oil and petrochemical industry.

In this regard, the Vice-Chairman submitted a corresponding proposal for consideration by the head of state.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the oil and gas sector is one of the key segments of the national economy. The Vice-Chairman was instructed to continue the structural improvement of the State Concerns "Turkmengas" and "Turkmennebit".
