Presidents of Turkmenistan and Iran discussed prospects for developing multilateral cooperation by phone

On Monday, a telephone conversation took place between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, TDH reports.
During the conversation, the interlocutors noted with satisfaction the current high level of relations between Turkmenistan and Iran, based on the principles of equality, good neighborliness and mutual respect.
As noted, fraternal ties between the two countries are actively developing in all areas, including in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The President of Turkmenistan confirmed his readiness to make efforts to further develop relations on a wide range of issues between the two states.
During the telephone conversation, Serdar Berdimuhamedov invited President Masoud Pezeshkian to visit Turkmenistan.
For his part, Masoud Pezeshkian invited the President of Turkmenistan and the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Hero-Arkadag to visit Iran at any convenient time.
The President of the neighboring state, expressing best wishes to the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, noted that Iran attaches great importance to the development of multilateral cooperation with Turkmenistan.
During the conversation, Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Masoud Pezeshkian expressed congratulations and best wishes to each other and the fraternal peoples of the two countries on the occasion of the holy Oraza Bayram.
The telephone conversation took place at the initiative of the Iranian side.
