All of them are focused on the long-term perspective, and great importance is attached to their joint implementation with international investors and partners".
"As an energy power, Turkmenistan is consistently increasing the potential of the fuel and energy sector: the colossal investments directed into it, in accordance with the energy strategy pursued in the country, make it possible to increase the efficiency of geological exploration and drilling operations, increase oil and gas production, which in general ensures the stable development of the processing industry. Mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign companies in the Turkmen section of the Caspian Sea and onshore through production sharing agreements is aimed at increasing the volume of oil and gas production. Strengthening the measures taken in this area remains one of the priorities," the President's message noted.
"The current tasks also include the development of the Galkynysh gas field, the consistent and effective construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline, transport corridors and power lines along the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan route. Successful implementation of these projects will make a significant contribution to increasing the diversification of the fuel and energy sector and maintaining energy security in the region," the head of state emphasized.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that the forum participants "will be able to discuss issues of developing hydrocarbon resources, the export potential of gas pipelines, processing natural gas, as well as priority areas for attracting investment in the gas chemical industry in order to exchange experiences".
