The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in Uzbekistan on April 23, the International Information Center of Turkmenistan reports.
At the end of fruitful bilateral negotiations, a solemn ceremony was held, during which the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev presented the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with a high state award - the Order of "Oliy Darajali Dustlik" (Order of the High Degree of Friendship) of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
This honorary award is a symbol of deep respect and recognition of the outstanding contribution of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to strengthening the centuries-old ties of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
The presentation of the order emphasizes its significant role in the development of comprehensive cooperation between the two fraternal countries in various areas of mutual interest.
