Hero Arkadag arrived in France on official visit

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left for an official visit to the French Republic on May 5, TDH reports.

As noted, Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the development of relations with European countries, including the French Republic, interstate cooperation with which is based on equality, trust and mutual understanding.

Turkmen-French cooperation in the political and diplomatic sphere is successfully developing both in bilateral and multilateral formats. Political consultations are regularly held between the foreign ministries of the two countries.

A few hours later, the plane of the National Leader of the Turkmen people landed at the Paris Orly International Airport, decorated with the national flags of the two countries. Here, Hero Arkadag was warmly greeted by officials of the French Republic, as well as members of the delegation of our country.

At the airport, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan talked with the official representative of France. Warmly welcoming the distinguished guest, the representative of the friendly country noted that France highly appreciates the multilateral cooperation with Turkmenistan and wished Hero Arkadag a successful visit. Hero Arkadag noted with satisfaction that Turkmenistan has maintained fruitful relations with France for many years, actively developing bilateral partnership established in various fields. In this regard, confidence was expressed that the current visit will give a powerful impetus to the further development of multifaceted cooperation between Turkmenistan and the French Republic and open a new page in the history of interstate relations.
