Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev invited Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to visit Azerbaijan. This invitation was made in a letter from the leader of Azerbaijan to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, published on May 8 in the central media of our country.
“Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan are bound by ties of friendship and brotherhood, emanating from the will of our peoples, who are united by common roots, as well as moral and cultural values. We highly appreciate your significant personal contribution to the development of our interstate relations and strategic partnership based on this solid foundation,” the letter says.
“I always remember our meetings and conversations with the greatest warmth. In order to continue our sincere dialogue and exchange of views on the effective development of the potential of joint activities between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, I invite you to visit Azerbaijan”, — Ilham Aliyev wrote.
He expressed confidence that the visit of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan will contribute to the further development of relations and strengthening of cooperation between the two countries".
