On May 23, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system, the agenda of which included a number of issues of state life, TDH reports.

During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the activities of the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" to identify oil and natural gas deposits.

As reported, currently in the western and southern regions of the country, with the help of powerful equipment and seismic equipment, software systems, oil and natural gas deposits are being searched for. Successful completion of these works will increase the volume of hydrocarbon resource production.

Summarizing the report, the President of Turkmenistan noted that in our country much attention is paid to high-quality and effective exploration and prospecting activities, underground deposits of oil and natural gas are systematically identified.

In this regard, the head of state ordered the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" to conduct proper exploration of hydrocarbon resources in the future.
