UAE Ambassador to Turkmenistan Holds Workshop on AI Technologies for Oil and Gas Sector at IUOG

A workshop on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the oil and gas sector was held at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas on May 27.
The event, organized by the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Turkmenistan Ahmed Al Hameli, was attended by the Rector of the University, faculty and students of the Faculty of Digital Technologies and Cybersecurity, as well as employees of the UAE Embassy.
Ambassador Al Hameli spoke in detail about the UAE’s best practices in education and the implementation of AI. He noted that in the United Arab Emirates, artificial intelligence concepts are taught from an early age, starting from secondary school, which helps prepare a new generation of professionals for the challenges of the digital economy.
Special attention was paid to the rapid implementation of AI and related technologies in the country’s oil, gas and energy sectors. The diplomat emphasized that these efforts, undertaken with the participation of world-famous and local digital companies, are already yielding significant results.
The Ambassador also presented the leading higher education institutions of the UAE, expressing readiness to provide support in establishing scientific and educational cooperation between the two countries.
