On June 27, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, where a number of issues of state life were considered.

During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the activities of the oil and gas complex, in particular, the State Corporation "Turkmengeology".

As reported, exploration of deposits of solid minerals and rare minerals is currently underway. At the same time, powerful mobile drilling rigs and equipment are effectively used. Successful completion of this task is intended to help provide raw materials to the metal production industry and the electronics sector.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of increasing the efficiency of geological exploration and drilling work carried out by the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" and instructed the Vice-Chairman to take appropriate measures in this direction.
