On June 29, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Chairman of the Board of Governors of Toyo Engineering Corporation Haruo Nagamatsu, who arrived in our country on a visit, TDH reports.
The businessman cordially congratulated the head of state on the second anniversary of the founding of the city of Arkadag, built on the basis of the "smart city" concept.
As noted, relations between Turkmenistan and Japan, which are strategic in nature with a focus on the long-term perspective, are consistently expanding in the areas of politics, diplomacy, trade, economics, as well as in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.
In this regard, the significant contribution of Japanese companies to the effective use of the economic potential of the two countries was emphasized.
Toyo Engineering Corporation and Turkmenistan have established constructive cooperation covering the oil and gas and chemical industries.
In this context, the head of state noted the prospects for expanding the partnership in new areas and expressed his readiness to consider specific proposals from the corporation.
