The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left for a visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan on July 16, TDH reports.

After some time, the plane of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan landed at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, decorated with the national flags of the two countries.

The foreign policy of our country, based on peacefulness, laid down by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, is successfully implemented under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. In this regard, the development of good-neighborly, friendly and fraternal relations with neighboring countries is defined as one of the priority areas, the news agency notes.

Cooperation between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan is long-term. As a result of joint efforts in recent years, these relations have reached a qualitatively new level. This is clearly reflected in the current visit of Hero-Arkadag to a friendly neighboring country, writes TDH.
