Representatives of the Oil and Gas University of Turkmenistan undergo internship in Malaysia

A group of students and teachers from the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas went on a study tour to the Petronas Technological University of Malaysia for practical training and advanced training.

Representatives from Turkmenistan will attend classes in specialized areas dedicated to the development of new technologies, the introduction of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in production. The participants of the trip will also get acquainted with the organization of training at the Petronas Technological University, its laboratories, training centers, research activities and production facilities of the company.

The educational and industrial practice is designed for two weeks of training and one week of advanced training.

For a number of years, mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of science and education has been ongoing between the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas, Petronas Charigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd, which operates in the oil and gas sector of our country, and the Malaysian company Petronas Technological University of Malaysia.

In 2024, a new Memorandum of Understanding was signed to continue this cooperation and further expand its scope.

The educational and industrial practice received at the Petronas Technological University of Malaysia is of great importance for students, helping them to enrich their theoretical knowledge with practical skills, and advanced training courses for teachers will help them consistently implement advanced world experience in their teaching activities.
