On July 28, a reporting meeting was held in the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the results of the industry's enterprises for seven months of the current year - the International Year of Peace and Trust. The participants of the meeting discussed the tasks set by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the country's oil and gas complex.
Opening the reporting meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov noted that through the efforts of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the state provides regular support in improving and consistently developing the oil and gas industry, modernizing its material and technical base. The Vice-Chairman also emphasized the need for an effective solution to the tasks set for the domestic fuel and energy complex. During the meeting, the State Minister of Turkmenistan - Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengas" Maksat Babayev, Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" Guvanch Agajanov, Chairman of the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" Gurbangeldy Garlyev, as well as heads of associations, departments and enterprises of the complex, reported on the work done.
The speeches included information on the production and processing of oil and natural gas, which are in great demand in world markets, the discovery of new promising fields and deposits, the intensification of work at the Galkynysh gas field, the acceleration of construction work, the continuous strengthening of the raw material base of the oil and gas industry, the implementation of geological exploration based on digital technologies, the timely implementation of work taking into account weather conditions, as well as other relevant areas.
Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov noted the need for constant monitoring of major projects implemented in the country's oil and gas sector, timely fulfillment of production plans, acceleration of the construction of the Serhetabat-Herat TAPI section called "Arkadagyň Ak ýoly", as well as the importance of organizing the summer holiday season in health centers under the jurisdiction of the industry, strict control over the work carried out in the relevant areas on the Mary-Turkmenabad section of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabad high-speed highway, and the development of the national fuel and energy system in accordance with the modern world level of development. In this regard, specific tasks facing the State Concerns "Turkmengas", "Turkmennebit" and the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" were identified.
Ashyrguly Begliyev, Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on Oil and Gas, also took part in the reporting meeting.
