The meeting of the Halk Maslahaty, the highest representative body representing the interests of the people of Turkmenistan, is scheduled for September 19, 2025.

The corresponding resolution of the Presidium of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, signed by its Chairman Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, was published on August 21 in the central media of Turkmenistan.

“To convene the next meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan on September 19, 2025, and hold it in the city of Ashgabat in the Maslahat Palace,” the resolution says.

The document also created an organizing committee for holding the meeting, approved its composition and the procedure for electing public representatives to the Halk Maslahaty.

As Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted during the meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty, one of the main tasks of the People's Council is the successful implementation of the adopted programs for the further socio-economic development of the country, the consistent democratization of society, the socio-economic development of the regions, as well as effective work to ensure the daily needs and requirements of the population.

In order to successfully continue the policy of reforms in various areas, we must work on new proposals in the outlined areas. At the same time, the main goal is to ensure a prosperous life for the population of the country and create a comfortable living environment for each person, - Hero-Arkadag said.
