The results of the fuel and energy sector for eight months of 2025 were discussed at the government meeting

On August 29, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, where the results of the work carried out in the country for eight months of the current year were summed up, TDH reports.

During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the results of the work done in January-August 2025 to increase oil and gas production and expand their supply routes to world markets.

Reporting on the achieved technical and economic indicators, the Vice-Chairman said that the oil production plan is being fulfilled by the State Concern "Turkmennebit". The oil refineries of the State Concern are achieving positive indicators in oil refining, gasoline, diesel fuel, and lubricating oils.

Data on the production of natural and associated gas, the production of liquefied gas, and the supply of "blue fuel" abroad were also presented.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that further modernization of the oil and gas sector is a key task. In this context, the Vice-Chairman was instructed to take appropriate measures to fully utilize specialized fuel and energy enterprises, as well as to increase the efficiency of geological exploration and drilling operations.
