Results of the fuel and gas complex activities for eight months of 2025 were summed up at the industry meeting

At the reporting meeting held on August 30 in the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan, the results of the industry enterprises’ work for eight months of the current year - the International Year of Peace and Trust - were summed up. The participants of the meeting discussed the tasks set by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the country’s oil and gas complex at the digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on August 29.

During the meeting, which was held under the leadership of Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov, the State Minister of Turkmenistan - Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengas" Maksat Babayev, Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" Guvanch Agajanov, Chairman of the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" Gurbangeldy Garlyev, as well as heads of associations, departments and enterprises of the complex, reported on the work done.

The speeches included information on the production of oil, gas condensate and liquefied gas in the country, the implementation of geological exploration based on digital technologies, the development of the dynamics of work at the Galkynysh field, the discovery of new promising fields and deposits, the development of international cooperation in the implementation of large projects, timely work taking into account weather conditions, further improvement of gas supply to organizations, enterprises and the population, as well as other relevant areas.

Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov noted the need for constant monitoring of major projects being implemented in the country's oil and gas sector, timely fulfillment of production plans, acceleration of the construction of the Serhetabat-Herat TAPI section called "Arkadagyň Ak ýoly", the importance of ensuring the full and uninterrupted operation of enterprises, a high level of preparation for the winter period, and the development of the national fuel and energy system in accordance with the modern world level of development. In this regard, specific tasks facing the State Concerns "Turkmengas", "Turkmennebit" and the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" were identified.

Ashyrguly Begliyev, Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on Oil and Gas, also took part in the reporting meeting.
