On September 28, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Eiji Hosoi, President, CEO, and Representative Director of the Japanese company Toyo Engineering Corporation, who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in celebrations of Turkmenistan's independence, TDH reports.

The head of Turkmenistan noted the important role of major Japanese companies, including Toyo Engineering Corporation, in the progressive development and strengthening of the Japanese-Turkmen partnership.

As noted during the meeting, relations between Turkmenistan and Japan are long-term and strategic. Japanese companies make a significant contribution to the effective realization of the two countries' economic potential.

Fruitful cooperation has been established with Toyo Engineering Corporation in the oil, gas, and chemical industries. This is clearly demonstrated by the construction and commissioning of a large gas chemical complex – a polymer production plant in Kiyanly – with the corporation's participation.

The President of Turkmenistan also noted that, given the country's ongoing economic development programs and industrial reforms, there are prospects for cooperation in new areas. In this context, Turkmenistan's readiness to consider specific proposals from the Japanese company was confirmed.

Eiji Hosoi assured that every effort will be made to justify the high level of trust placed in the company he leads.
