The president also laid wreaths at the foot of the monuments erected in honor of the Turkmen soldiers who fell in the battle against fascism and the heroes who died fighting for the freedom of the Fatherland and the happiness of future generations.
Then wreaths and bouquets of flowers were laid by the Speaker of the Mejlis, members of the government, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan, and international organizations.
