The anniversary 30th International Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2025" (OGT 2025) opened in Ashgabat on the morning of October 22 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

Over 100 exhibiting companies, as well as relevant ministries and industry agencies of Turkmenistan, are participating in this industry exhibition.

For 30 years, the "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan" exhibition has been a key meeting place for leading professionals in the oil, gas, and energy sectors. Memoranda, agreements, and contracts for future cooperation are signed here. Leading global companies in the oil, gas, and energy sectors are among the conference and exhibition participants.

The numerous attendees at this year's exhibition listened with great interest to the address by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the participants of the international conference and exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan 2025," in which the head of state emphasized the forum's important role in expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign partners.

"I am convinced that this international conference and exhibition, which are being held at a high level for the 30th time this year, will play a significant role in the exchange of experience and opinions between domestic specialists and foreign partners, and in expanding broad cooperation in the future," the President of Turkmenistan noted.

The head of state emphasized that "independent, neutral Turkmenistan offers significant opportunities to all those interested in equal and mutually beneficial cooperation: confidence in the economic stability of our country increases the desire of foreign businesses to invest in promising projects."

The exhibition features a wide range of booths representing companies from our country's oil and gas industry. The Turkmengas, Turkmennebit, and Turkmengeologiya State Concerns exhibited their pavilions. They presented a variety of information about the activities and production successes of Turkmenistan's oil and gas companies.

The Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan also presented its stand at the exhibition.

Foreign companies are widely represented, including both long-standing partners of Turkmenistan and those visiting our country for the first time to develop mutually beneficial cooperation. These include Rönesans, Dragon Oil, CNPC, Petronas, and others.

The conference will begin in the afternoon. It will focus on attracting foreign direct investment and an overview of global trends in the energy system. Plenary sessions are planned on environmental issues, renewable energy sources, and hydrogen technologies.

The event is held under the motto, which underscores its focus: "Energy. Innovation." Development," and the main theme is "Shaping the Future of Global Energy in the International Year of Peace and Trust – Innovation, Energy Transition, and Strategic Cooperation."
