An industry meeting summarized the fuel and gas sector's performance for the first ten months of 2025

On November 5, a reporting meeting was held at the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan to discuss the performance of companies in the sector for the first ten months of this year, the International Year of Peace and Trust. During the meeting, the objectives set for the country's oil and gas sector by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan held on October 31 were discussed. The meeting summarized the performance of all sectors of the economy and discussed specific ways to further advance work in this area.

Opening the meeting, Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov emphasized that President Serdar Berdimuhamedov is creating all opportunities for the modernization and sustainable development of the oil and gas industry and noted that the industry has been assigned important tasks. During the meeting, Maksat Babayev, State Minister of Turkmenistan and Chairman of the State Concern Turkmengas, Gurbangeldy Garlyev, Chairman of the State Corporation Turkmengeology, and the heads of the complex's associations, departments, organizations, and enterprises reported on the results of their work and the tasks they had been assigned. The presentations covered information on oil, gas condensate, and liquefied gas production in the country, the progress of construction of the main section of the TAPI gas pipeline along the Serhetabat-Herat route, known as "Arkadagyň ak ýoly," the organization of the full and uninterrupted operation of production facilities, the timely implementation of seasonal work taking into account weather conditions, the acceleration of construction work, the results of the XXX International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2025," held in Ashgabat from October 22-24, and other relevant topics.

Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov set important goals for the state concerns Turkmengas, Turkmennebit, and the state corporation Turkmengeology, noting the importance of ongoing monitoring of major projects in the country's oil and gas sector, the widespread introduction of modern technologies, the proper implementation of production plans, the ongoing professional development of specialists, and careful preparation for Oil, Gas, and Geology Workers' Day, celebrated annually on December 14.

Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov wished the complex's employees success in effectively achieving the objectives set by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the development of the oil and gas industry.

Ashyrguly Begliyev, Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on Oil and Gas, also participated in the reporting meeting.
