Entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates and Ukraine purchased urea from Turkmenchemistry and hydrotreated diesel fuel from Turkmennebit for foreign currency.
Cotton yarn, assorted plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, and denim were also sold for foreign currency. The buyers were from Kyrgyzstan and Estonia.
The total value of the transactions exceeded USD 9.15 million.
Local businessmen purchased base oil and petroleum coke from Turkmennebit, as well as cotton yarn, textile waste, plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, Karakul wool, and thick licorice root extract for the domestic market. The total value of the transactions exceeded 278,156,000 manats.
