On January 12, Turkmenistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov met with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Turkmenistan, Ali Mojtaba Rouzbehani, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral cooperation issues of mutual interest.
They also discussed specific regional and international issues, and outlined further steps to implement previously reached agreements in 2026.
The diplomats also touched upon issues related to trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian ties between the two countries.
