Last week, 25 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
Business representatives from the United Arab Emirates purchased urea produced at the processing facilities of the State Concern Turkmenchemistry for foreign currency.
Licorice root extract, dried licorice roots and rhizomes, wheat flour, cotton yarn, bed linen, denim, and textiles were also sold for foreign currency. The buyers included the UAE, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan.
The total transaction value exceeded USD 5.893 million.
Local entrepreneurs purchased wheat flour, cotton yarn, crude fatty acids from cotton soapstock, and plastic pallets for the domestic market. The total value of these transactions exceeded 85,690,000 manats.
