The production and technology service for geophysical well surveys at the Mary site of the Turkmengeophysics management company of the State Concern Turkmengas is one of the industry's leading production units. In 2025, the company successfully fulfilled its plan, conducting geophysical surveys totaling 20,720,164 manat, compared to a planned figure of 19,702,476 manat.
They conduct surveys using modern geophysical instruments at production and exploratory wells of the State Concerns Turkmengas and Turkmennebit, as well as the State Corporation Turkmengeology. During the work, the technical condition of underground formations is studied and monitored.
In 2025, service specialists conducted geophysical surveys at production wells No. 264 and No. 110 of the Galkynysh gas field, as well as well No. 3 of the Yylan gas field in the Mary region, all under the jurisdiction of Turkmengazburawlayysh. This facilitated strict adherence to process conditions in gas-bearing formations, ensuring the production of commercially significant high-pressure natural gas flows.
Last year, geophysicists also conducted studies to increase production volumes at existing wells in the Decade of Independence and Yolguy gas fields of the Marygazçykaryş division, as well as at the Dovletabat-2 and Dovletabat-3 fields of the Dovletabatgazchykarysh division. As a result, an increase in natural gas flow rate was recorded. Following geophysical work carried out at the production facilities of the SC Turkmennebit and the Marynebitgazgozleg and Lebapnebitgazgozleg expeditions of the SC Turkmengeology, oil and gas production volumes increased.
The company's employees have also successfully begun fulfilling their 2026 production plans. Based on the orders received, specialists have begun conducting geophysical logging operations. Research is currently underway at operating wells in gas fields operated by the Marygazchykarysh Administration, production wells No. 263 and No. 283 at the Galkynysh field, well No. 04 at the Yylan field operated by the Turkmengazburawlayysh Administration, and the Minara-05 exploration well of the Marynebitgazgozleg expedition of the State Corporation Turkmengeology. These operations significantly support gas workers in complying with technological requirements for drilling production and exploration wells.
Thanks to the support of the President of Turkmenistan, the most advanced oil and gas equipment is being purchased from leading global manufacturers. The company has begun receiving high-tech geophysical instruments manufactured by leading companies from China and Germany. These installations will further improve the quality of geophysical surveys at the country's oil and gas wells.
