Students from the Balkanabat branch of IOGU win an intellectual competition

Students from the Balkanabat branch of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University won the "Brain-Ring" intellectual competition, held at the Balkanabat branch of the "Kämil Bilim" educational center.

The event was organized by the Main Education Department of the Balkan region, the Regional Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization, and the Balkanabat branch of the "Kämil Bilim" educational center.

Twenty-five teams participated in the competition. Among them were students from the Balkanabat Oil Secondary Vocational School of the Turkmennebit State Concern, the Regional Specialized School of Arts, and students from grades 10-12 of the city's secondary schools.

The qualifying round was held in February in a testing format. In subsequent rounds, teams competed for the right to advance to the finals.

The participants demonstrated not only deep knowledge but also the ability to find the right answers in seconds, logical thinking, and teamwork skills.

According to the competition's results, students from Balkanabat Secondary School No. 24 took second place, while teams from Balkanabat Secondary Schools No. 12 and No. 6 shared third place.

The winners received certificates of honor and souvenirs from the competition organizers and sponsors, according to the website turkmennebit.gov.tm.
