Twenty-one transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

Business representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Uzbekistan purchased urea produced by the State Concern Turkmenchemistry, as well as base oil produced at the processing facilities of the State Concern Turkmennebit, for foreign currency.

Cotton yarn, textiles, and an iodine alcohol solution were also sold for foreign currency. The buyers included Turkey, the UAE, and Kyrgyzstan.

The total transaction value exceeded $12,258,000.

Local entrepreneurs purchased base oil, polypropylene, and heating oil (Turkmennebit), aerated concrete blocks, as well as wheat flour and cotton yarn, for the domestic market. The total value of these transactions exceeded 44,302,000 manats.
