Young hockey players from the Oguzhan club triumphed at the open championship in Ashgabat

The open junior hockey championship for players born between 2013 and 2015 concluded at the capital's Winter Sports Complex. Talented young players from specialized sports schools participated in the competition, organized under the auspices of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Physical Culture and Sports.
The Oguzhan hockey club (Turkmengazavtomatika, a subsidiary of the State Concern Turkmengas) emerged as the clear winner of the tournament. From the very first matches, the team demonstrated a high level of preparation and coordinated tactical play, allowing them to confidently reach the final.
In the decisive match for gold, Oguzhan faced the Burgut team. The final match was dominated by the "gas workers," ending with a crushing 17-2 victory. Individual tournament awards:

• Best players: Begli Gurbangulyev, Yunus Amandurdyev, and Ibrahim Gaylyev.
• Best goaltender: Rahman Ymamgulyev.
• Most productive player: Yslam Atayev, who set an impressive record of 39 goals scored during the tournament.
