A professor from PETRONAS University of Technology held an online class on "Black Gold" for students and young faculty from the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas from May 11th to 14th.
The presentation covered current trends in the oil and gas industry, including the use of digital technologies, automated systems, and artificial intelligence-based solutions. Particular attention was paid to modern methods of field exploration, reserve assessment, and improved production efficiency.
The professor also discussed the use of high-precision geological analytical methods, monitoring systems, and environmentally friendly technologies to optimize production processes.
Participants received special certificates from PETRONAS University of Technology.
As part of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the higher education institutions, several professors from the Turkmen State University of Technology are scheduled to conduct classes throughout 2026, both online and in person.
