On May 15, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital means, where a number of state matters were discussed, TDH reports.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Guvanch Agajanov reported on the measures being taken to improve the logistics of the State Corporation Turkmengeology.
As reported, the State Corporation's oil and gas exploration expeditions are drilling for oil and natural gas at several fields and sites located in the western region of the country. Significant attention is being paid to modernizing the logistics of specialized enterprises. At the same time, fruitful cooperation with foreign companies specializing in this field is maintained.
In this regard, the Vice-Chairman submitted a corresponding proposal for the President's consideration.
After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized that productive work is underway in the country, including modern-day exploratory drilling and the discovery of oil and natural gas reserves.
Having approved the proposal to improve the logistical support of the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" the head of state addressed the Vice-Chairman with the corresponding instructions.
