Investment oil and gas forum will be held in Ashgabat and Dubai in March

 The International Investment Forum «Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan» (OGT 2022) will be held on March 29-30 in Ashgabat and Dubai (UAE).  This was announced by Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Shakhym Abdrakhmanov at a government meeting, which President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held last Friday in a digital system.

 The Vice-Chairman noted that taking into account the great interest shown by foreign companies and leading financial institutions in expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with our country, the forum will be held simultaneously, via a teleconference, in the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan at the World Exhibition «EXPO-2020», which continues in the city  Dubai (United Arab Emirates).

 The organizers of the investment forum «Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan» are the State Concerns «Turkmengas», «Turkmennebit», «Turkmenchemistry» and the State Corporation «Turkmengeology» in partnership with the «Turkmen Forum» company and the British GaffneyCline.

 The OGT 2022 forum is held in order to attract investment to the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan, develop and strengthen international partnerships between Turkmen government organizations and international oil and gas companies.  A detailed overview of the oil and gas market of Turkmenistan and the latest projects in the industry, its new opportunities will be presented, and the world's leading oil and gas companies will share their vision and experience.

 During the forum, issues such as global trends in the development of the fuel and energy complex, energy diplomacy of Turkmenistan, the implementation of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline, attraction of investments in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, prospects for gas chemistry, the «green» transition and others will be considered.

 Participation in the forum of senior management and representatives of both state organizations of Turkmenistan and leading international oil and gas companies, major international financial institutions.

 Along with the traditional format of the forum, an online broadcast will be organized on the Zoom Professional platform in more than 70 countries around the world.  The same hybrid format will be used to organize meetings with the top leadership of the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan.
