Serdar Berdimuhamedov: Turkmenistan's GDP growth in January-April remained unchanged at 6.2%

In January-April 2022 the growth rate of GDP in Turkmenistan remained unchanged at 6.2%. This was stated by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a government meeting on Friday.
The head of state noted that the results of the work done over the past four months indicate that Turkmenistan continues the progressive development in accordance with the Program.
- During the period GDP growth remained at 6.2%. In all corners of the country are built and erected numerous objects of industrial and social facilities. As part of the diversification of the economy are successfully implemented state import-substituting production of the program and the increase in export volumes of goods issue, - the President said, adding that the work on digitalization and industrialization of the country.
- Modernized production, emerging market economies, the construction of transmission lines and communication of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan and the transnational gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India, carried out preparation of other international projects, – the head of state mentioned.
