On the sidelines of the May 23 session in Tehran on reforms and prospects for cooperation in the Economic Cooperation Organization region, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Vepa Khadzhiev met with Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Mehdi Safari. During the talks, the parties discussed issues of expanding economic cooperation, primarily in the fields of energy, transport and transit.
