In Tehran, the issues of preparation for the Sixth Caspian summit in Turkmenistan were discussed

 Preparations for the Sixth Caspian summit, which is scheduled to take place in Turkmenistan, were discussed at the fourth meeting of the High Level Working Group on the Caspian Sea, held in Tehran last week. This was reported on Saturday by the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.

 «The sides discussed the issues related to the preparation of the Sixth Caspian Summit, which is scheduled to take place in Turkmenistan, as well as exchanged views on various aspects of cooperation in the Caspian Sea», - statement reports.

 At the last meeting in Tehran also a draft agreement on the procedure of establishment of straight baselines on the Caspian Sea was discussed.  Coordination of this document will be continued.

 The next meeting of High Level Working Group on the Caspian Sea will be held in Turkmenistan, the date will be agreed through diplomatic channels.

 Fifth Caspian Summit was held in August 2018 in Kazakhstan's Aktau.
